This is a popular captively bred variant of the zebra danio. Leopard danios, characterised by their golden bodies adorned with blue-gray spots, exhibit a scale pattern reminiscent of leopard spots. These robust danios are well-suited for novice fish keepers, as they demonstrate excellent social compatibility with other non-aggressive fish species. They are best kept in schools of 5 or more fish.
